Known Issues with Version 0.6

  • Not all locations update properly if a Servo Name is changed. Try to avoid doing this. Actually, some releases have it disabled anyway.
  • Doesn’t do full sanity checking on whether the Torso is the right size, size comparisons between arms and shields, etc.
  • Does not require a Torso when it should. Also allows multiple Torsos, when it shouldn’t.
  • Not a bug, technically, but according to the rules you can put a cockpit or sensors into a Binder. I’ve put it in here just because it’s amusing.
  • It is possible to add hands to a held location, or multiple hands to an arm, and have the hands count for purposes of held items.
  • It is possible to add hands to a Weapon Mount.
  • Wheel kills and propulsion spaces don’t always update properly(though they are stored, just not displayed)
  • Any table with a location delegate has a tiny memory leak when loading files. This is fixable, I just haven’t done it yet.
  • Building Hands with the Spec File results in a point value of 1.8.  This isn’t really a bug, though… it states somewhere in MZ+ that hands are technically 1.75 point items. MektonHelper simply rounds to the nearest tenth of a point. If it really bothers you, you can edit the spec file manually and set the base cost of hands to 1.7 instead of 1.5. This will give you a total of 2 CP in the spec window when it’s loaded.
  • As mentioned above, MektonHelper often rounds CP and Spaces to the nearest tenth of a point. This may, in some particular configurations, result in slightly different point values. It all depends on how precise you want to be. I really should go through and make sure they’re all Significant Figures compliant.
